I love the concept of actually using Twitter to “Listen” as a basis for interaction. Gwen does tweet occasionally, but it’s a great leadership technique to emphasize that she’s there to listen and I would imagine learn from her online community.
A great example of how someone who may not quite “get” Twitter can still be active in the conversations happening online (I think Gwen definitely gets it!). Just get out there and start listening.
