So it was recently brought to my attention by my colleague Morgan Appel, Parent and Family Coordinator here at Binghamton University that if you try to type the word “Bachelorette” into anything (Facebook, Twitter, Word, etc) your spell check will indicate that you have misspelled “bachelor”. I find this highly annoying. Is this truly not a word in the dictionary yet? Oh wait, it IS. So what the heck spell check?
