The goal of the Education and Research Fund is to help ACUI members tell their story through research and programs, as well as ensure the long-term financial stability of the Association.
Through the generous contributions of ACUI members, friends, and corporate partners, the Education and Research Fund has endowed several Association awards; funds scholarships for students to attend ACUI’s premier leadership program, the Institute for Leadership Education and Development (I-LEAD®); and created a scholarship for individuals to attend the IPDS: New Professionals Orientation. The Education and Research Fund also provides research grants that encourage the creation of new knowledge within the college union and student activities profession.
The Education and Research Fund raises money through its Annual Fund campaign, events at the annual conference such as the Silent Auction and FUNd Run, and through direct campaigns for specific funding initiatives. In the last year, donors have helped to complete endowments for three additional awards and helped start a new research grant in the college union and student activities field.
